Doulton 陶瓷濾芯乃採用天然矽藻化石製造而成，藻類型的單細胞植物生活於海洋中一億五千萬年,其外殼上存有成千上萬之為小細孔，死亡後便不斷沉澱形成天然矽藻化石，利用該天然原料所素燒製成之濾芯，不僅擁有優越之過濾效能，其天然呈鹼性的特點，能將水由PH值中性7.0提升為弱鹼性約8.5，且不含任何化學成分 之材質，更可確保飲用水之安全及健康。

Doulton ceramic filter elements are made from natural diatom fossils. These single-celled algae-like plants lived in the ocean 150 million years ago, with thousands of tiny pores on their outer shells. After death, they continuously settled to form natural diatom fossils. The filter elements made by firing this natural raw material not only have excellent filtration performance but also, due to their naturally alkaline characteristics, can raise the pH of water from neutral 7.0 to weakly alkaline (approximately 8.5). Moreover, the material contains no chemical components at all, which further ensures the safety and health of drinking water.
